The undergraduate program in Speech and Language Therapy aims to equip students with the following professional competencies:
To perform comprehensive clinical evaluations using up-to-date technological tools, standardized assessment scales, and evidence-based methods specific to language, speech, voice and swallowing. Upon completing these evaluations, graduates will be able to make accurate differential diagnoses related to speech and language disorders.
To design and implement individualized therapy programs for individuals diagnosed with language, speech, voice, and/or swallowing disorders, based on the outcomes of their clinical assessments.
To collaborate effectively with professionals from various disciplines and make appropriate referrals concerning communication, language, speech, voice, and swallowing difficulties.
To contribute to interdisciplinary studies by integrating their knowledge of language, speech, voice, and swallowing into collaborative clinical and research practices.
