The event titled “Language and Speech Disorders in Early Childhood: Why and When Speech and Language Therapy?”, organized within the scope of the TÜBİTAK Science Talks, was successfully held on April 3, 2026.
 
In the talk, delivered by Lecturer Dr. Ayşegül Yılmaz from our Department of Speech and Language Therapy, language and speech disorders observed in early childhood were addressed in light of scientific evidence. During the event, the importance of early intervention, the process of initiating speech and language therapy, and key considerations for families were comprehensively discussed.
 
The program, hosted by Hatay Payas Nursan Anatolian High School, was completed in an interactive atmosphere with strong participation and engaging questions from the audience.
