As the Department of Speech and Language Therapy at Tarsus University Faculty of Health Sciences, the White Coat Ceremony, symbolizing our students’ first step into their professional careers, was held with great enthusiasm and pride on April 10, 2026, at the Şehit İstihkam Üsteğmen Ozan Olgu Köreke Conference Hall, with the participation of our academic staff, students, and their families.
During the program, it was emphasized that the white coat is not merely a garment, but also a symbol of professional responsibility, ethical values, and commitment to serving society.
As our students wore their white coats, this meaningful moment—marking their first steps toward embracing the scientific approach, ethical stance, and professional responsibilities required by the field of Speech and Language Therapy—was shared with great pride and joy by all participants.
